Twenty days away from home we missed it. Tara
had concerns about her Toys and princess dresses. We stayed with Alok at
Milford the previous night and made preparations for the flight back home. We
also made our Hertz rental one way to the airport so we could drop it there.
Hartford was just 45 minute drive and the flight was on time when we got there,
which surprised us. We reasonably expected some delays with all the huge
back-up and cancellations in past several days but we boarded on time. There was a change over at Chicago and we saw people all dressed up in Halloween costumes in the airport. We landed at LA airport at 7 Pm and took another one way rental from Hertz and arrived home by 10 PM.
Suguna aunty prepared some dinner and placed at our place so we had a nice meal. Quail Hill looked quite with few kids going around with trick or treat. Since it was already late and Tara was all set to sleep, we did not venture out for a Halloween spectacle.
